| PANCHITA AGUIRRE AWARDED BY THE NATIONAL OFFICE FOR WOMEN |

The Guatemala City based firm is pleased to announce that on the 18th of February, which is the national Women’s day in Guatemala, the international contact partner of the firm Panchita Aguirre de Kaehler was awarded by the National Office for Women a medal for her 40 years of work in the profession as well as the time and effort she had spent in many non profit organizations for the benefit of women, children and people in need in Guatemala.
She was the first woman to establish an independent CPA in Guatemala, founder of Colegio de Contadores Públicos y Auditores de Guatemala and had also formed the CPA Women Commission. She was president of the Oficina Nacional de Mujer, an entity that has representatives from around 200 entities of Government, Universities professionals, human rights campaigners, not for profit associations amongst others and today she is Vice President of the Board of the committee of Blindness and Deafness Prevention Program in Guatemala.
